Fresh Footprints

Life is not just about the destination, but the journey - how we live and the impressions we leave behind. We hope to continue making fresh footprints, in the sand, the mud, or chocolate pudding, for a long time to come.

The sooner it starts.....

the sooner it will be over. The deployment, that is. So now that it's started, we have many things to look forward to over the year, starting with Christmas at Nana and Papa's in California in just a few weeks! I hope to be using this blog to update everyone on us much more frequently than I have been in the past. The kids and I are headed out to our friend Cathy's for dinner and playtime later today. We are going to do our best to keep on truckin' and praying for John and his unit. We are so proud of him and will miss him dearly over the next year!

About Me

My photo
Fresh Footprints
I love adventure. That's why I'm a stay-at-home-mom. I have jumped from a perfectly good airplane, hiked in the Alps, savored fresh sea urchin in the Mediterranean, and commanded some of America's finest sons and daughters - before being a mother. All of those adventures pale in comparison to being Alex and Cassidy's "Mommy." Above all, I am eternally and humbly thankful to God for my talents, family, and blessings, and I pray my mothering would honor Him.
